Appointments

Appointments are booked in advance by either calling the surgery or booking on-line. If you are wanting a same day emergency appointment then please call the surgery on 01924 334451 where you will placed on a list for a Health Care Professional to call you back to assess/book you an appointment or you can call the Health Professional Team directly on 01924 784100 this saves on you waiting time and they can give you medical advice between 8.00am-8.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am-3.00pm Saturday and Sunday.

appointments

All surgeries are by appointment only. Selected appointments can be pre-booked up to one month in advance by telephoning the surgery.

The practice nurse is available Monday to Friday by appointment only.

Please note that appointment slots are for 10 minutes duration only to allow us to monitor and cope with the demand for patient consultations. If you have more than one problem to discuss, it is advisable to request a double appointment which provides a 20 minute consultation period.

If your appointment is for a specific reason e.g. cervical smear test, contraceptive cap or coil fitting, asthma or diabetes check, ear syringing or blood test, please advise reception when making your appointment as differing lengths of time and advanced preparation may be required.

Please note that we are only able to treat one patient per appointment slot. If you have other family members who accompany you that require a consultation, please advise reception when making your appointment.

Cancelling Appointments

Many valuable surgery and hospital appointments are wasted by patients who do not cancel any unwanted appointments resulting in the waste of a professional person's time and means that another needy patient will have to wait longer. For this reason we ask that you contact us if you no longer require your appointment.

Due to the seriousness of this challenging issue patients who DNA (do not attend) their appointment on 3 occasions may be subject to removal from the practice register.

You can cancel your appointment as follows:

  • Call the Surgery on 01924 334451 and select option 2
