Discontinuation of Fax Machines in the NHS
12th December 2018
We have unfortunately had a fault on our fax line for some time. We made the decision to decommission the fax machine as this was now old technology which isn't considered secure anymore. This is in line with the publication from the Health and Social Care Secretary Matt Hancock, who declared a ban on fax machine in all NHS organisations by 2020. Read the full story here.

Advice for patients or parents with faith concerns
1st August 2018
The nasal spray flu vaccine contains a highly processed form of gelatine (porcine derived from pigs), which is used globally in many essential medicines. Some faith groups accept the use of porcine gelatine in medical products - the decision is of course up to you. For further information about porcine gelatine and the nasal flu vaccine, see www.gov.uk/government/news/vaccines-and-gelatine-phe-response
